Summary:

Mrs. Sam Behnke was hired to provide support at Crossroads (0.30 FTE) as it was the first year the program was back on the RHS site. There has been an overwhelming amount of support from the RHS content teachers in terms of working with students in Crossroads. The need for her additional support has not continued at the same level as it began at. We recommend shifting her support to Barlow Park Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year. We asked her to connect with Principal Shawn Gartzke to develop a job description of what that support could look like for next year. This job description, therefore, would not be a new position, but rather transferring Mrs. Behnke's 30% teacher contact from RHS to Barlow Park. She is ready to support at BP for the remainder of this school year, provided the Board is in support of that move.
